Marching Band
The marching band at Norman High School is a part of the instrumental music program. All students in the band program are members of the marching band. We perform at all home games, select away games, and playoff games. The band performs a corps-style show and we participate in local marching band contests as well as the OSSAA region-marching contest.
We meet from 7:15-8:40 every morning in the fall until football season is done. Prior to the school year there is band camp, this is generally two weeks of extremely important teaching (check calendar for dates). If you are a percussionist or a colorguard member, you will have an additional week in the summer for your special instruction.
The Norman High School Marching Band is a very public performing group and is a successful part of the band program.
